Podiatric treatment

Our feet carry us around the world up to four times in our lifetime. But what do we do when walking becomes a strain, our shoes pinch, or other foot problems arise?

We are here to help you with all these questions and provide you with our professional expertise. Podiatry is a medical foot care practice that combines prevention, therapy, and aftercare. As a medical specialist, we work according to the strict hygiene and quality guidelines of Swissmedic, from practice hygiene to individual treatment.

High-risk patients

We specialize in the treatment of high-risk patients, such as those with diabetic foot syndrome (DFS), who require special preventive and therapeutic care.
High-risk patients are people with an increased risk of delayed wound healing and/or infections.
You have come to the right place if you suffer from any of the following illnesses or conditions:

What does “high-risk patient” mean?

Patients with reduced, impaired or lacking perception of pain, pressure, injury, cold or heat have an increased risk of not noticing injuries, inflammation or infections in the feet in a timely manner.

A weakened immune system caused by illness or therapy, as well as restricted blood circulation, also increase the risk that wounds heal poorly or not at all and, in the worst case, can lead to amputations.

Our approach

Your situation as a high-risk patient is often complex. That's why we place great emphasis on interdisciplinary, individualized care. This includes:

  • comprehensive advice together with you and interdisciplinary with your carers

  • targeted wound care

  • complete documentation of the treatment

Our goal:
Maintain health and relieve symptoms and avoid complications.
