Compulsory health insurance (OKP) for diabetic foot syndrome (DFS)
You can bill a certain number (4-6 treatments per year, depending on the diagnosis) of podiatric foot treatments to the DFS with a doctor's prescription through the basic insurance of the health insurance companies.
Please book your appointment by phone only. (With Ms. Sarah Egli, certified podiatrist)
With a fully completed prescription, we can bill health insurance companies directly through Medidata AG. This means:
Diagnosis A, B or C is marked by the doctor.
The doctor's signature and stamp include the ZSR number and the GLN.
The regulation must be reissued for each calendar year.
Please bring your health insurance card with you to your first consultation. If you take any medications on a regular basis, please also bring a current medication list.

Please let us know by phone as early as possible if you are unable to keep an appointment.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice will be billed. These costs are not covered by your health insurance.
Basic insurance cost coverage:
Podiatric treatment is generally not a mandatory service provided by health insurance companies (except in the case of DFS).
Additional insurance:
If you have supplemental insurance, please contact your insurance provider for current reimbursement rates. Depending on your supplemental insurance, 0–90% of the costs of a podiatric foot treatment are covered. We will be happy to issue you with a receipt, which you can submit to your respective supplemental insurance provider after payment by cash or card.
