Why teamwork is so important in podiatry

At our podiatry practice, Podolux GmbH, we place great value on teamwork – not only internally, but also in interdisciplinary collaboration with doctors, orthopedic shoemakers (OSM), and other specialists.

Interdisciplinary care is particularly crucial for high-risk patients, such as those with diabetes mellitus, polyneuropathy, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), or chronic wounds. Good coordination between podiatrists, general practitioners, specialists, dermatologists, angiologists or vascular specialists, neurologists, diabetes educators, nutritionists, wound managers, physiotherapists, oncologists, and orthopedic shoemakers (OSM) ensures that problems can be identified early, treated professionally, and subsequent complications can be avoided.

What does teamwork mean to us?

  • We discuss special cases as a team and regularly continue our training.

  • We work closely with specialists and orthopedic shoemakers to provide our patients with the best possible care.

  • We take time for individual advice – because every foot is different

For our patients, this means short distances, a coordinated treatment concept, and greater safety.

Your advantage: expertise & heart

Whether it's corns, ingrown toenails, diabetic foot syndrome, or difficult calluses – we work together to ensure that your feet stay healthy and that you can live safely.
